Self-Coaching with Logosynthesis

People House: 3035 West 25th Avenue

Tuesday, January 22
           6:30-8:30 p.m. Chapel

Logosynthesis is a deceptively simple verbal technique for dissolving reactions to past, present or anticipated stressful situations. It is based on a spiritual/metaphysical point of view that holds that our basic life energy can get stuck in reaction to anything that happens to us that we can't fully process; Logosynthesis identifies the triggers to these reactions and helps us retrieve the energy bound up in the stuck experiences. We will focus on Logosynthesis as a process for self-coaching and stress reduction. We will demonstrate the process with volunteers from the group, and will discuss what we are doing and why we are doing it.We may also offer a five-session followup class for more personal work.

Facilitators: Jonathan and Laurie Weiss are partners in life and work and are internationally recognized psychotherapists, authors and relationship specialists. The Weisses have been married (to each other) more than 50 years, and have nearly 40 years' experience as business partners, coaching people in powerful ways to improve the quality of their relationships.
